Every session is shaped around your child. They lead, I guide. We work towards real, noticeable progress, session by session.

You and I have a cuppa while your child explores the yard at their own pace. I'll ask about what's been happening at home, what you've already tried, and what you're hoping might change.
No forms to fill in, no clinical questions. Just an honest conversation between two people who want the same thing for your child. This is also your chance to ask me anything.

Your child gets a full 60-minute session with the horses, the same as any regular visit. They'll meet Snowy, Wally, Wilma, or Socks, and we'll work through real activities together. Some children want to brush straight away.
Others prefer to stand back and watch from the distance for a while. We follow their lead entirely. By the end, you'll have experienced exactly what sessions look like here, and you can decide whether it's right for your child.
Every child is different. I offer three approaches, all one-to-one, all led by your child's needs, all with our gentle horses.
Does being around the horses calm them? Are they curious? Nervous? Engaged? These first reactions tell us a lot about what might work in future sessions.
This is also your chance to see whether you feel comfortable here. Whether you trust me with your child. Whether the setting feels right. That matters just as much.
By the end of the hour, we'll both have a sense of whether this could help. If it's not the right fit, I'll tell you honestly and give my honest opinion.

I'm not trying to convince you to book more sessions. If I don't think this will help your child, I'll say so. I've turned people away before when I felt another approach would suit them better. This hour is about finding out honestly.

Most parents tell me they knew within the first twenty minutes whether this felt right. Trust that instinct. If your child seems calmer, more engaged, more themselves around the horses, that's your answer.
No. Most children who come here have never been near a horse before. We start from the beginning and I guide them through everything.
That's completely normal. We go at their pace. Some children spend their first session just watching from the fence, and that's fine. There's no pressure to do anything they're not ready for.
Every child is different, but most parents notice changes after 3 to 4 sessions. Calmer at home, better sleep, fewer meltdowns. Some children respond even faster.
Yes. All our horses are chosen for their calm, patient temperaments. Activities happen on the ground and later on therapeutic riding, and I'm always within arm's reach. Safety comes first, always.
Children from around 5 upwards, teenagers, and adults. If you're unsure whether it suits your child or adult person, ask me and I'll give you an honest answer.
Something comfortable that can get a bit mucky. Closed-toe shoes are essential. We're outdoors with horses, so dress for the Irish weather.
No. If your child is struggling and you think this might help, that's enough. You don't need a letter from anyone.
Yes. I hold Equimotional Wellbeing Coaching Certificate and BHS Coaching, also I have worked as Special Needs Assistant.
