Every session is shaped around you. You lead, I guide. Our work is Client-led. Always.

Your first session starts with a chat with Majella at the yard. Nothing formal, just a conversation about what brought you here. Then you'll spend time with the horses. Some people want to groom them, brush them down, be busy with their hands while their head sorts itself out. Others just want to stand in the field and be near them. There's no right way to do this. Majella follows your lead entirely.

Over time, most people develop their own rhythm. You'll start to notice which horses you're drawn to, what activities settle you, and how quickly the yard brings your energy down. Sessions stay flexible, what you need on a Monday after a bad weekend is different to what you need on a Friday when work has been relentless. That's why there's never a fixed programme. Each session is shaped around you, that day.
Horses respond to your body, not your words. For people who overthink and overanalyse, that shift from thinking to feeling is powerful.
You don't have to talk, participate, or "do" anything. There's no therapist with a checklist. Just space.
When you calm down, the horse calms down. You don't just know you're more relaxed — you can see it reflected in the animal beside you.

This isn't clinical and it isn't a treat-yourself luxury experience. It's an hour of genuine quiet with animals that respond to who you are, not what you say. Most adults who come to us have tried other things. This is the one that sticks.

Sessions are just you and Majella. No groups, no other clients in the yard, no audience. That privacy matters, especially if you're someone who holds it together in every other part of your life.
No. Most children who come here have never been near a horse before. We start from the beginning and I guide them through everything.
That's completely normal. We go at their pace. Some children spend their first session just watching from the fence, and that's fine. There's no pressure to do anything they're not ready for.
Every child is different, but most parents notice changes after 3 to 4 sessions. Calmer at home, better sleep, fewer meltdowns. Some children respond even faster.
Yes. All our horses are chosen for their calm, patient temperaments. Activities happen on the ground and later on therapeutic riding, and I'm always within arm's reach. Safety comes first, always.
Children from around 5 upwards, teenagers, and adults. If you're unsure whether it suits your child or adult person, ask me and I'll give you an honest answer.
Something comfortable that can get a bit mucky. Closed-toe shoes are essential. We're outdoors with horses, so dress for the Irish weather.
No. If your child is struggling and you think this might help, that's enough. You don't need a letter from anyone.
Yes. I hold Equimotional Wellbeing Coaching Certificate and BHS Coaching, also I have worked as Special Needs Assistant.
